Today we left Wellington for Piction which is in the South Island. We caught the ferry in the morning and it took 3 hours roughly to do the crossing. Once we got towards the South Island we were travelling between islands and mountains before hitting the main south land. It was breathtaking sailing on such blue beautiful waters. From the ferry we drove down to Kaiteriteri via Nelson and a town called Richmond! :)
The lodge was pretty nice here.. We went for a workout on the beach and then had a group spaghetti bolognese! I watched telly and chatted with Claire and Ria before bed.
This morning we went on the aqua taxi to the national park for a walk via and rock that looks like an apple split in half. It only took a few hours then we were on the bus again travelling further south.
