3 July depart Madrid for Seville. Expected temp 37 in Seville. The train journey was very pleasant and took 2½ hours. The apartment here is very good although small but it's location is excellent. We walked around the old town and familiarised ourselves with the Alcazar, Cathedral and main shopping centre. There was a lot of information in our apartment and we have selected a walking tour for the morning. There are also a lot of horse drawn carts for hire which sounds lovely however at 37 C the smell is somewhat overwhelming and should be avoided when possible. I had my first Sangria today, very refreshing and cold.
