Today we went and visited Florence we are staying in Signa 15 mins out from Florence by train it is a nice quiet area and has a nice local feel. Today we slept in then caught the train to Pisa to see the leaning tower of Pisa, we didn't want to stay in Pisa so we checked our bags into the luggage storage rooms at the train station and walked to the leaning tower of Pisa. Today we headed out to explore Cinque Terra and its 5 villages. We decided to catch the ferry to the furtherest village and then catch the train back to each of the villages. We caught the ferry to Riomaggiore, the ferry was so full we got a seat eventually and got to take lots of photos of all the villages from the water they are all so pretty with all the different colours. Today we departed venice and headed on the train for Monterosso in Italy it's one of the villages of cinque terre. We only had one train change which was nice and in the second part of the trip we met a nice couple from Melbourne we chatted with them for over three hours on the train they had spent the last 4 weeks in Italy so it was nice hearing stories from where they had been and where they were going. Today we set off to explore Venice by foot( the only way really other then by boat)we forgot to take our map but we managed but at times got very lost. We just walked around across many bridges and saw lots of pretty canals. We had lunch on the main canal watching all the boats and gondals very romantic ahhhhhhhh. Lol.
