Today we set out on foot and in the heat to discover Athens. We headed down what we thought was going to be a shopping area but it wasn't and it was a very dodgy street it smelt and had graffiti every where we got back onto another street and ended up finding some ruins we looked at them for a while before heading to the Acropolis a lovely walk mainly up hill. Today we caught the plane to the airport to go to Athens our flight was 1240 we left our hotel at 10 to get the train thinking it would be plenty of time but by the time we got to the airport and checked our bags ( which they classed as over size even though they weight 14 kg each, they said due to all the straps) we then made our way to the gate which was boarding. Today we decided to do a hop on hop off bus tour for a change, our first stop was the colosseum and some ancient ruines we spent a while looking around and admiring what was left and what it would have been like back in the day, the colosseum looked smaller than what I thought but amazing. Today we headed on a bus tour out to explore Tuscany the tour went to Four areas of Tuscany with wine tasting just red wines and some sampling of cheese, salami, olive oil and proccetta. The first two towns were really pretty with old buildings the 1 st town had about 5000 people but the 2nd tiny with only 48 people.
