Today we left Nice and headed to Venice by train, we only had three train changes today we left at 725 and arrived bout 4 We got of the train in venice but didn't realise the guy who had booked our tickets booked the wrong station so we had to get a local train and go another 10 mins on the train. Today we went and looked at old town Nice, it was Sunday and nothing was really open so we had a coffee at a cafe then went down to the beach. The ironman was on so we walked along the promenade and watched it for a little while then went for a swim. Again it was really cold but we both went in and it was really nice and relaxing. Today we headed to the train station to book some more train tickets the lady wasn't very heapful and we could only book 1 out of the 3 we wanted to book. So we will try to book them once we get to Italy. We walked to the beach about 20 mins from our hotel and then went along the beach and into old town nice to another nice beach which the lady from the hotel suggested. Yesterday we went on another walking tour, ( we are really loving the walking tours they are cheap, you get to see lots of the top spots and you walk heaps :) ) we went around the old town of Barcelona and learnt about all the history we saw lots of churches, roman ruins and other historical places.
