Today we departed venice and headed on the train for Monterosso in Italy it's one of the villages of cinque terre. We only had one train change which was nice and in the second part of the trip we met a nice couple from Melbourne we chatted with them for over three hours on the train they had spent the last 4 weeks in Italy so it was nice hearing stories from where they had been and where they were going. When we arrived we got a little lost again we had a map but it wasn't very good about 30 mins after arriving and walking up many stairs and down stairs we found our hotel, with a little help from another Italians tourist. ( we are getting very good at hiking up hills with our back packs )

When we arrived we got dressed into our togs and went to the beach and explored the town they have a little suburb called Fagina ( of course Brett and I found that funny ) we had a swim
It was cold but not as cold as Nice. Then headed back to a little bar/ cafe and had a few cocktails. I got a little tipsy hehe they were so delicious, then headed our for some dinner. We had pasta again so devious much better than at home and then headed to bed about 1.
