Today we started by going back to Cobb's Hill cemetery for a bit more information. After that we went down to a shop so that if anyone wanted to get a Harvard sweatshirt, they could, because sweatshirts at Harvard cost more than they would anywhere else. We then took the bus to Harvard and walked to the statue of John Harvard. People were taking pictures but said to us we should probably not touch the statue. We learned that it was a tradition for freshmen students of the school to pee on it. After everyone chose not to touch the statue we walked to the Harvard library. The library was funded for by a mother who's son that went to Harvard drowned on the Titanic. We took pictures on the steps of the library and walked to lunch. We had lunch at Bartley's burgers, which was amazing. It had burgers by the name of the Viagra burger, the Caitlyn Jenner, and the #Hashtag. It was the first time I had ever ate a burger with such a name as the Viagra burger, and the first time I ever sat in the same seat as Al Capone once sat. After lunch we bussed to Lexington and Concord. We saw the memorial of the Battle of Lexington and Concord and where the old Town House was. After this we went to the Old Manse house, where through a window Ralph Waldo Emerson watched the battle in Concord going through his field. We would never have been able to feel what it was like to watch the field if we only learned about the battle in the classroom. We learned also how Nathaniel Hawthorne lived in the house and scratched words into the glass of the house. We then went to Pizzeria Uno for dinner. For our last stop we walked to the Omni Parker House, which is supposed to be haunted. We finally went the Old State House, where the Boston Massacre happened. The British lion and unicorn were still on the building, which we found was because the Queen of England visited Boston and we put it up to be respectful.
