I originally found this restaurant on tvfoodmaps.com while looking at eateries recommended on "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" and then found that it had also been featured on "Man vs Food." It's celebrity status and good reviews are what enticed us.
Cattlemen's Steakhouse lived up to his reputation of having great food and, despite it being near empty when we were there at 7:30 in the morning, the atmosphere was still entirely welcoming and pleasant. One of the most entertaining things we were able to view from our booth was a large, backlit photograph of two men - in suits - sitting atop horses and apparently herding a group of beef cattle. We were later informed that the two men were the original owners of the restaurant and had been scheduled for an alternate photo shoot - thus the suits - but then ended up working the cattle instead.
10/10 would recommend this as a stop on anyone's trip through Oklahoma City.
