It is almost time. Next week the 11 of February I will finally leave to Shanghai. In total we go with 4 people. 2 Boys and me and another girl.

The flight from Dusseldorf to Shanghai with a stop in Amsterdam will take us 13 hours and we will arrive in Shanghai at 10:55. In China it is 7 hours more late as here in the Netherlands so actually (in Dutch time) we will arrive at 4 o'clock in the night.

I'm already very busy with packing all my stuff. I already have my visa and ticket so actually I'm ready to go.

The 14th of February it is spring festival in China (new year) so we will go there to celebrate that. So for that reason I have to miss carnival :(. School starts the 22 of February so we still have a little bit of holiday over there.

We will study at the Shanghai university of Finance and Economics. We will take the course of Chinese and for other courses we have to see over there for the possibilities.

I will stay at the campus and I will have a combined room so I'm pretty curious who that will be. We live like 30 minutes from the Centrum by bus and in China that is normal.

A friend of my will come to Shanghai to celebrate spring festival with her family. After the festival she will come to visit me and help me finding my way in Shanghai. I'm very happy with that because she knows Shanghai and she will show me the most important thing in Shanghai.

My parents and brother will come in the end of march. They will first come a few days to Shanghai and then we will go with the four of us to Beijing for 4 days. After that I will fly back to Shanghai and my brother will fly back to Holland. My parents will travel for 1 1/2 week more in China.

I'm really really excited to go but I'm also going to miss everyone so very very much. Because of the time differents and because I also have to study and probably also will travel I will write this blog so you all can read and react on what I'm doing over there.
