First of all I want to thank everyone for the good wishes. I don't have internet yet but I'm now at a friends place who also will show me around in Shanghai. She lives in Nanjing and will go back to holland this Sunday. I hope we have internet our selfs this weekend.

I had a good flight. We watched movies all the time. When we arrived at the airport we first needed to go trough a lot of checks. Finally we took a taxi and went to the campus thay told us to go. When we arrived they didn't know anything and a student sended us to an other campus. We got a room over there. Anouk and I are in 1 room. It was very durty but further more ok. So after we arrived we went to the supermarket to buy cleaning stuff. The student who sended us to this other campus helpt us that day with some stuff like, where is the supermarket and we now got a chinese phone card. He teached us how to travel by metro and stuff.
On saterday he showed us around he took us to peoples square it is the place to be in Shanghai. It has a lot of shops and there are a lot of people. It is close to a river and on the other site is The Bund. It is a big famous building also known as the TV tower. We went there but didn't go in. Saterday the 13th was also the start of the spring festival (newyear). Around 23:30 we went to the balcony of our flour (5 flour) to watch the fire work. It was also sowing so it was a great evening. There was also an other student. After a while he asked us to go out to sellebrate spring festival so we did. It was great. The club was very nice. It was pretty the same as in Holland. Everybody is dancing doing crazy or drunk. but there where also tables where you could site.

Sunday, monday and teusday we just relaxt a little bit and walked a lot to see Shanghai.

On wednesday we went to Suzhou by train. It is famous because of its silk. It has a lot of gardens and we visited two. We walked a lot over there because we wanted to see everything so we also saw from one site great buildings and tourists and from the other site poverty. We where very serprised because we also saw 3 dutch girls. Actually being blond and with in China gets peoples attention. Everybody is watching you and making pictures. It really feels like we are here the atrection.

The wether is ok. It is +5 but feels much colder but it is dry so that is important. The last two days it is getting more crowded because everybody is comming back from there family and go back to work because spring festival is almost over (saterday).
The food over here is great. Some things are not that good but a lot is much better as the dutch food I have to say.

Now i'm in Nanjing with Yue Ying she is a friend of my from school in Holland. I came here by train it took me two and a tree hours to get here. Everything is very cheap over here. Like metro will cost you 3 yuan. This is like 0,30 Euro. Tomorrow evening I go back to Shanghai and than on Sunday I have to register for classes and than on monday school starts so we will see how it is over here.

I'm not on my own laptop so I don't have pictures now but as soon as I get internet I will put them on. I really miss carnaval:(. I hope I have internet soon so I can let you know more.
