Dear Carola. from your blog i know you have almost packed and arranged well for your trip back home. It's good, but actually i really don't like you said probably you won't come back. There is a long long trip before us,right? So let us make some dreams even the promise, just like you said, maybe we can meet somewhere in the future. either in my country or in your country,whatever, i believe, finally we can have the chance to get together again.

And i want you to continue updating your blog after backing home. you can write your daily life ,friends,folks happening around you, introduce more things about your hometown,your compus or anything you like. I have interests. also you can send more pictures to me, and i will too.

De laatste foto's die je geplaatst hebt, waren weer leuk om te bekijken. Dank voor je ansichtkaart! Die was al snel hier (China is niet zo ver als je denkt ...).
We hopen dat je examens goed gegaan zijn. Nieuwtje van hier: Monica is geslaagd voor haar 3e piano-examen. Nu nog maar 1 te gaan (over een jaartje of 3 ....).
Tot gauw en geniet nog maar even in China, ook van het eten! (zo lekker als daar, zal het hier vast niet zijn)

Hey, lucky girl. Guilin is really a great place,right? Although i haven't been there, i still heard a lot from friends,espeacilly from the prose learned in my high school in the textbook. You know, there is a famous and well-known sentence in China "桂林山水甲天下"，which almost everyone of we Chinese people travels there for this sentence. It means: the secnery in Guilin is so beautiful, and the most amazing parts are the blue rivers and green mountains, and we even can say that they are beyond conparison all over the world. Actually, the sentence is a little exaggerated, as we all known, in china, there are a number of wonderful senic spots, let alone the whole world. But i think it's understandable, after all, it do make the place more attractive adding the artistic discription. When you learn deeper in Chinese, i think you can gradually find that why we think Chinese is one of the most beautiful language in the world partly because the use of various kinds of rhetoric.

I think you and your friends had a awesome and interesting travelling, right? We Chinese people always say that the river in Guilin is so clear just like a mirror, so the trees,the mountains are reflected in the water, the picturesque view is beyond description. I just wonder do you really feel the same way. Wish all you luck, and looking forward to your reply and pictures.

Hey,girl. Recent days i'm so busy with some exams,so haven't much time to contact you. Are you ok? Reading your trip to the Luoyang,I just think i have to admit that you do travel a lot great places in China. But to me, as a Chinese girl, at least so far, the cities I've traveled are much fewer than you. Frankly speaking,on the one hand,I also like traveling,and definitely,it's awsome to make traveling plans according to our own willingness. On the other hand,I admire your courage,in my heart,you are really brave to travel alone,and in more cases i dare not to do it.

Actually,I once discussed with my friends and folks about you and your traveling. You know, in China,there are so many parents who always overprotect their children,and I'm no exception. So the most parents always worry too much about us and don't want to give the independence to us to challenge.And the majority of we children also have't much courage to do risky things, let alone in a unfamiliar country or condition. We just think the difference between us must lie in the different concept and education. I just want to say,I enjoy some ways of your westerners more. In sometimes we Chinese people's thoughts and behaviors are really too conservative. Please don't mind that I have so many complaints. I just also a child overprotected who really want more freedom and trust from families. And thanks for as my friend and audient. Wish you happy,and if you need any help,please let me know.
