Got up, met Di and went down to Global Gossip to edit my CV to send to the recruitment agency, Hudsons. Checked some emails to. Then walked down to Hay St and found a post office and bought some padded envelopes so i could send some stuff home. Got a sandwich and headed over to Paddy's Markets. It's the underneath of a shopping centre thats got hundreds of market stalls there. Bought some make-up as decided that couldnt live without it now! He He! Went upstairs to Market City, the shopping centre above Paddy's, had a walk round and bought a top in Mambo. Called home and spoke to Mum & Dad & Nanny. Went into the IGA supermarket and bought some food etc to eat at the hostel. Dropped off the food at the hostel and and got talking to the people in my room, Jamie, Billy, Craig and Toni. Di's friend Cat came along for a chat too. We went down to Side Bar to eat and have a few drinks before we went out to celebrate the start of the World Cup. Went back up to the room to get ready and headed for some pubs. Paddy Maguires was first, them Three Monkeys, ( Cat left to go back to the hostel, she was singing at the Opera House the next day!), Star Bar, The Metro and then finally Scruffy Murphy's!! The first match was on, Germany v Costa Rica, 4-2 Germany. The lads went off to get some food and Di and i stayed a bit longer to dance and then got pizza on the way back. Stayed up chatting to the lads in my room and then went to bed very late, well early! He He!
