Monday 05/06/06 Bloody wet! Raining hard! Got up and met Di, had breaky and went for a walk to find the Doctors, Di had hurt her back lifting her bag and wanted to get it checked out before she started looking for a job. We walked down George St and found the Medical Centre and Di got an appointment right there and then! We walked down George St a bit further and went to a foodcourt and had lunch. We went and registered me at Medicare and got a receipt with my name on it etc. Then we walked down to Darling Harbour, looked at what was on at the Imax theatre, but there wasnt anyhing good on, walked around to go the the Pumphouse pub, has every beer you could imagine from around the world! But that was closed! We decided to try then cinema, but nothing on there either, just subtitled films! So we went to Paddy Maguires Pub and had a coulpe of beers and tried to dry off, but we got a bit cold and walked back up to the hostel. I had to buy another jumper as the one i had was soaked and we rushed over the road to the cheap shop. Went back into my room and got changed into dry clothes and met up with Di and watched a bit of tv and then went to the bar downstairs to get some dinner and have a drink. Stayed down there quite late drinking, chatting, dancing and then went to get PIE, but Di got a kebab instead as the piew place was shut! We got back to the hostel and werent tired there was a film on in the reception, Snatch, so we watched a bit of that and then i went up to bed quite late bout 3am.
