What a day!
Look at that weather.
33 degrees they say.
Beautiful breakfast on the terrace.
Off and into town.
It's a downhill walk.
About 10 minutes.
With spectacular views all the way down.
Sibila pointed out her family home yesterday.
I've added a photo.
Bottom 2 Windows on the right overlooking the water.
I loved wandering this morning.
Just took my time.
Looked at everything, probably twice.
Went back to the Buza Bar to sit and watch for a while.
I love that spot!
Wandered the 'Remembrance Room'.
Amazing photos and stories about the bombing of the town.
Sat and had lasagne just in an alley off the Main Street.
The wonderful waitress there sent me up steps to The Game of Thrones place.
I had fun there.

Back to the hotel.

Wow!
Left at 5.30pm to walk to the harbour to catch a special boat to take us to dinner.
It was wonderful.
I will write this up on the plane tomorrow.
Leaving by taxi at 10am to the airport.
Flying to Barcelona ... About 2 hours.
Wait there
Then flight to Lisbon ... Again about 2 hours.
Being picked up by Trafalgar at the airport.
I have lots to write up and this should give me time.
Dinner last night was wonderful.
We travelled by boat for about 40 minutes to a small seaside village for dinner outside under grapevines watching the water.
The food was beautiful and it was a funny night.
And a spectacular sunset.
Back to the hotel by bus.
Hugs and goodbyes to everyone in the lobby.
Then Grant suggested a nightcap in the terrace.
So it was Steve and Sandy, Julie and Jamie, Kath and Grant, Janet and John and me.
Absolutely beautiful spot.
Under the full moon.
Yep, it was spectacular.
And lots of photos of the moon.

Great way to start the day, breakfast on the terrace – very civilized!I walked every step with you to the old town, purple bougainvillea streaming down over sandy rocks and apartments on the right, ocean views with occasion green shady trees and history on the left, cars and scooters buzzing past you as you dodge the small bollards between the road and pathway…………………..I’m there!!!!! Yeah Buza Bar!!! Sounds like it made an impression……..well, how could it not?.....my favourite place on earth to “sit” I’m thrilled you went and LOVE IT. Hey I forgot about the Remembrance Room (the one on the right as you enter the gate?, video playing in the corner) Yes, and only 20 years ago. I paid my respect. I’ve seen photos from Igor when the harbour and all the boats were on fire, just so hard to believe as it’s all so beautiful. Great photo of the Monk, you can see where everyone has touched him for good luck……ah the birds, was it a guy dressed as a pirate, so good, can be rowdy and they walk all over you…..but you have to do it. Enjoy that view, its magnificent. Just gaze – let the image sink into your mind creating the memory you will not forget.On your way to Lisbon now. Thanks for sharing, feel like I’m still there.
