Haven't turned right out of the hotel room once, Emily.Was a bit confused as the button for the ground floor is 'E.'When the elevator gets to the ground floor, the floor symbol looks like it is short for vegetarian.The hotel is beautiful.And so very, very quiet.No street noise at all.Not a sound to be heard at all in fact.So...That leaves me wondering ...Exactly how loud is that guy snoring in the room next door?I have visions of the drapes being suck...

Went to the former Concentration Camp in Dachau today.I thought I knew a lot about this.I didn't know a thing.The guide, Franz, was brilliant.Lots of simple history lessons that made that era suddenly clearer.It was a foggy morning that fitted the atmosphere. From walking past the old railway sidings to the crematoriums to the photo displays to the barracks to the footings of all the other barracks to the words of the prisoners themselves.I took 2 photos here...
