...I go to the dive shop and meet Jorge, a technical cave instructor and today's guide for the cenote trip
...we pick up some excellent sandwiches on the road
...we drive to the site, pay the fee and gear up. Then we dive the Pit, an enormous open cenote, which cannot be compared with anything I have done before. And which has some pretty sick light effects.
...I discover Mexican taps have a very unusual water on/off switch
...I find some yum pastry in the shops, including something called "apple empanada" which turns out to be an apple puff
...we drive back to another cenote called Dos Ojos, where we do both available lines (circuits) in two dives. They are amazing, full of rock formations and very impressive but I'm starting to think cave diving might not be my thing...Somehow it seems... boring...(?)
...we drive back, I pick up my car, pick up a nice tshirt from Jorge's operation and go back to the apartment. Dead tired after 3 dives, I fall asleep fast.
