After an extremely sweltering night we today visited the very clean and ecclectically designed city of Houston, Texas.

The road system was bizarre to say the least and even our navigational device failed to keep up with the many looping thoroughfares! Even the trams ran through street-long lakes! (see my video) However the architecture was very impressive and Cadet Mark selected the Downtown Aquarium for a visit.

This was a very good choice as the displays were very well presented and, oddly enough for an aquarium, included various reptiles and two magnificant white tigers!

After an atmospheric dinner in the 'underwater restaurant' we headed out of the city, and indeed the State, to spend another overly humid night on the shores of Lake Arthur in Louisiana
