Today was a lazy day for us, we simply wandered aimlessly around the city by train on a 24 hour ticket that cost us €4 each. It was so good to not be in a hurry or to see anything in particular. We did however check out the transportation after we land back in Athens from Israel. We will catch the Metro from the airport into the city to Larissa Station and then hop on the train bound for Patra about 3 hours away. Which will give us oodles of time as the ferry...

We left Patmos at around midnight last night on the Blue Star Ferry. It was certainly an interesting event!! An early start today at 5am and we were on the ferry bound for the isle of Patmos, farewell to the beautiful port city of Kusadasi, and to Turkey. What a great time we have had here, I loved Turkey, the people are friendly and very helpful.
