We didn't get in from our night out until 7 am so we slept until 2 pm. We slowly but surely pulled ourselves together, and the 5 of us went out for breakfast, if you could call it that. I ordered so much stodgy food in an attempt to feel better and not hungover...epic fail! After, we wondered back to the room and onto the beach to chill out for the rest of the afternoon. Masa and I decided to try a dip in the sea as a way to make ourselves feel a little better. The sea outside the hostel and the strip of clubs was the most disgusting sea I've ever been in, I can't believe I stayed in there as long as I did. It was so muggy and dirty with litter, even the sand bed felt grimy! There was nothing nice about it so we turned back after getting belly deep. I felt as thought I needed another shower. It was also bizarre because the sea level stayed the same for about 100 yards, which would explain why there was the same amount if not more dirt in the sea the further you went out. We headed back to the room, got dressed for dinner and then headed to a little street stand and had some chicken nuggets and snacks. Not really what I had in mind but then again I'll eat anything really. After, we headed to the beach to watch some of the fire shows. We started at Slinky's. It was amazing, literally incredible. The skills these guys had was out of this world. They must have trained for hours/ days/ months or even years. There was a mixture of guys with solo batons and some with the two chains with balls on the end. They were throwing it all over the place, it was mesmerising to watch! I couldn't take my eyes off the show, it went on for a few hours but it was like nothing I've ever seen before! After it finished, the same guys set up the limbo pole and everyone started to limbo. I didn't drink but I didn't need to, the atmosphere was just incredible! At about 12 midnight, Masa and I grabbed a roti and headed back to bed. Great night yet again!
