In anticipation of the late night/early morning stay up ahead of us, everyone in the dorm slept until as late as possible. When we did eventually haul ourselves out of bed, we got ready and headed to the pool at the beach hotel. We sat by the pool in the sunshine for the remainder of the day with a few of the guys from the hostel which was really nice. At about 4 pm, we headed back to the hostel to try and sneak an afternoon nap in...we weren't so lucky! After about 15 minutes of getting into bed, Jen and Sam (the couple working at Ringside that had taken us all on the tour yesterday) came shouting into the room all dressed up in their Full Moon gear holding trays of shots! They told us we weren't allowed to sleep...It was Full Moon! We all got out of bed and were given three shots each to down there and then! I loved their enthusiasm, they were a great couple! We decided to scrap the nap and head out for food. Lindsey joined us and showed us a Mexican him and Sam had been to the night before. It was really good food! Once our stomachs had been positively lined ready for the night ahead, we headed back to the hostel to get ready, the party was already in full swing when we arrived.
We had pre drinks at the hostel and the three of us were dragged into a wet t-shirt competition which none of us were confident about doing! We tried so many times to get out of it, we even crossed our names off the list when the organiser wasn't looking! Needless to say, we weren't getting out of it and gave it our best shot, which wasn't very good at all as we were the first three out of the competition! There goes my career as a striper! We all painted ourselves up with fluorescent colours ready for the party. Again, everyone from the hostel partied until gone midnight then piled into taxis which took us to the beach where Full Moon was already in motion. The three of us and Lindsey managed to stay together all night. All I can say is there was a lot of paint, alcoholic buckets, music, dancing, food and we managed to stay at Full Moon to see the sun rise! It was an incredible night, one I won't ever forget!
