We met up with the woman who is looking after the apartment for the owner. She lives in the next floor down and we just wanted to meet her and thank her for her help while we had been here. Anne had googled the name of the woman who owns the flat, Tessa Duyven, as she is a writer. As it turns out she is quite a well known writer who wrote "The Twins" which oddly enough Anne and Lesley had been talkiing about a few days ago.

We then arranged to be collected by a taxi to get us to the boat and although we arrived an hour early we were allowed to go aboard, just not allowed in our cabins. While waiting we were asked by one of the staff if we would like to attend the 'Special Dinning' tonight. Twenty-eight people (4-6 per table) can attend this dinner each night but we are only allowed to attend it twice during the trip. The menu is the same for the first 7 nights then changes for the next 7. We accepted.

At 3pm we were introduced to Nevena, our Cruise Director who gave us the low down to the boat and some procedures. We then registered and went to our cabins. Later that night we were introduced to the captain and then had our dinner in the special room at the rear of the boat - it was a lovely gourmet dinner. We will definitely register for the next one.
