Day 39 I slept in to 9am then headed down to breakfast. Today I was going on an expedition to find EXPO 2015 Milano. I left the hotel on the 11am shuttle bus to the Airport where I caught the Malpensa Express train to Cardona station. Day 38 It seems strange this morning not to get dressed in riding gear and have to rush to pack my bags. I wandered down to breakfast at 8:40am to say good by to those that were leaving today. It was another very hot day so I decided to have a true rest day and stay in the hotel precinct and catch up on emails and my blog. Day 37 Our last day riding. We had 305km to travel today. We set off from our palacious nights stay at 9am and headed East to the Italian border at Col Angel Pass, 2744 meters ( third highest pass in the alps). The traffic on this pass was much lighter than previous passes and the open scenery made this last pass of the tour very enjoyable. Day 24 Today we pick up our bikes, have our pre tour briefing and the introductory dinner. I wandered down to breakfast at 9am and found Bill and Joan in the dinning room. The selection of breakfast items was even less than the day before. It would seem that, unlike other hotels, they do not top up the items on offer when they run low.
