<b>Day 12</b> I slept in to 9am this morning then wandered down to breakfast. The majority of our tour group had taken the rest day to travel to Auschwitz for a tour. I chose to have a restfull day doing some washing, sending emails, paying bills on line then wander into the Peoples Square to do some site seeing. After spending a couple of hours on the computer I wandered down stairs and had a Panini and latte for lunch. There was no sign of the group...

Day 11 We set of at 9:20am on a very cold and wet morning. The forecast was for a maximum of 13 degrees C. Sunday morning traffic leaving. Stary Smokovec was moderately heavy and the group was split several times. The term "Sunday driver" was very apt for this part of the world as we came across several drivers just dawdling along and apparently without a care in the world.
