Well we decided to visit "The Park" today. So we stopped and filled up with very expensive gas so that we wouldn't run out. There is no gas in the park. So we stopped and took pictures of the rushing Kaweah River that runs into the Kaweah Lake. If it wasn't running so fast I would have jumped into it! We stopped at the visitors center and then the museum. They didn't have great gift shops so we continued on. We parked and took the shuttle to the General Sherman Tree. This is what everyone comes to see. I have to say that no pictures do justice to any of these Sequoias. These trees are huge, red and huge. It was so busy so we didn't do anything else. We just went home.

A couple of months later we drove back up and went to the tunnel log and took a picture of my tiny car under the log. We took pictures of Moro rock and a few other interesting things. This time we drove all the way up to the lodge and visited the great gift shops!
