Welll, we arrived here on time. :) But we damaged the trailer. So far we have visited Fiesta Island, a few Petsmarts and Petcos, The trailer repair place (it's fixed now) Ocean beach dog beach and yesterday we went to Pacific Beach Farmers Market.

We had one weekend to learn how the railway runs then we started with the Pumpkin Express trains!! Talk about Fun! The kids get to ride the train for 1 hour, then we drop them off at the pumpkin patch and they get to decorate and take home a pumpkin. I had a blast working in the gift shop. Tom got to help with the pumpkin patch.

Then we went back to regular trains. 1 1/2 hour ride twice on Saturdays and Sundays. These are some fun rides! Again, I'm working in the gift shop. I like the gift shop.

We did get to ride the first North Pole Limited train!! Talk about FUN. We wore jammies, and we get hot chocolate and beautiful huge chocolate chip cookies. In first class we also got water and more candy. Then we picked up Santa Claus at the North Pole!!! And after Santa visited all the kids the ride is over. :( But it sure is a lot of fun.

We've had so much fun we plan to come back again for next year with the Pumpkin Patch & North Pole Limited.

I haven't bought any post cards yet so I will send some out once before we leave here back to Arizona I hope.

The dogs love it here. There are not just the dog parks and all the dog friendly places but we have cows in the field here and they get to see them and run loose without leashes.

Ocean beach was great. Of course there are no photos because I didn't want to ruin the camera or phones. But they had a blast running with all the other dogs on the beach. They are not happy with the salty water but were happy that we brought them fresh water.

Yesterday before going to the Pacific beach Farmers Market we went to the dog park in Balboa park. It's no different than any other dog park but it is nice that they have it. The dogs had a great time at the farmers market and everyone said how well behaved they were.

At the farmers market we got to try a bunch of different things. One that I really liked was chicken in mashed potatoes, shaped into a teardrop and fried. I wish I could remember what it was called.

Then of course I spent a small fortune on a bottle of raspberry balsamic vinegar. I just couldn't pass it up. And we bought some fresh Green & Wax beans,

Today we were planning on going to the Ocean Beach farmers market but we have too much fresh food that we need to eat up.

We also visited a petshop called Our Feathered Friends and fell in love with a few parrots. But we have Simon and he's all we need so we bought him toys.
