Our ferry is at 9.30am this morning to get to Ko Phangan so we were up and sorted for just before 9.00 when we could check out. We walked down to the same ferry port as when we arrived and checked in. We got on the boat two minutes later and found seats. We then had about a twenty minute wait before the ferry set off. It was about 1 hour 15 minute journey to Phangan. After getting off maps and flyers were shoved at us before we had our bags on properly! We then walked out of the port in search of a songthaew. We got one but had to wait until he had more customers. We were dropped off at our resort, it looks nice! There's a pool surrounded by beach huts, and it's fairly quiet. Once checked in we had an explore of the place, finding the beach and getting somewhere to eat. Everywhere seems really quiet and laid back. When we got back we sat on our balcony outside for a little while. A huge cloud seemed to come over and the wind was picking up, we couldn't believe it looked like it was going to rain. With that it started and there was a major downpour for a couple of hours. Once the rain had passed we decided to have a look to see if there is a nearby shop to get water etc so set off walking in the opposite direction to earlier. There was a seven eleven but it was closed but we did find somewhere, we also got something to eat. We went back and chilled at our hut for the rest of the night.
