It was another 9.00am start for us this morning, Jay and Justus had been asked to come in a little earlier to catch up to where we had got to with the DVDs. Then we joined them to watch the last two altogether, after this we went through more homework answers and that was the morning over with. Sarah did have a bit of news though, she said we would not be on the afternoon boat as planned tomorrow because there would be no room but we would be on the morning boat instead. This means we would do two dives in the morning then the exam in the afternoon. Morning does mean though that we have to be at the kit room for 7.00am! We haven't really been doing any sort of early morning unless absolutely necessary. We were all a but gutted by this but Sarah assured us that a morning dive would be better anyway because it would be less crowded and more to see. After this we went across to the kit room to pack our bags for this afternoons dives. We then had an hour for lunch before we needed to be back to get on the boat. Once on the boat we set up our kit then chilled, we were going to Shark Island for our first dive. This time we learnt how to descend properly into the water and how to keep neutral buoyancy whilst under, so you get the feeling of weightlessness. Then we went for a swim looking for fish, we saw all sorts, including; Butterfly fish, polka dot nudibranch, batfish and trevalys.
When it was time to go up, we went up and got into the boat. We then set our kit up again onto a new tank of air then rested. We rested for about an hour or so, there was the usual tea, coffee and biscuits but this time there was also fresh fruit which was nice. We moved to another dive site in this time, called Pottery. We got ourselves kitted up and went for another dive, this time we found some sand where we could kneel down and did some skills we already knew. We then had a swim to see what we could see again, this time we saw; Yellow box fish, masked pufferfish, trigger fish and long faces emperor fish. It was very cool! When it was time to go up we went up and got on the boat, took our kit apart and packed it away and then sat waiting to get back to shore. Once back in shore we rinsed out kit then were told we could go, back at the kit room at 7.00am tomorrow morning. We went back to our hotel, had showers then went out for some tea. Once back we thought we would definitely get an early night, seen as we were tired from today and we have an early start in the morning!
