We were up earlier this morning as we still have some packing to do and wanted to get a quick swim done in the pool before we leave too. We got changed ready to swim and had an hour or so in the pool. It was great because the pool is really nice here and was great at that time in the morning. We went back had showers and went for breakfast. Angus had said to us last night that they would drop us at our next place tomorrow at midday ish. This was great news. So we packed everything else and waited in the restaurant, Hom, Angus' wife drove us. We were on the back seats of their pick up with a family of five going to the beach in the back of the pick up. The three kids seemed to love it, that's just how a lot of people get about in Thailand. Hom dropped us off on the road where google maps had said the place was. We knew it was pretty much beach front so went through another set of beach huts to get to the sea front and try to look for it from there. James went off to look whilst I sat on the steps of a restaurant with the bags. Whilst sat it started to spit with rain so I got the bags inside. James came back and we had a couple of drinks. It was really throwing it down with rain by now too. He couldn't see it anywhere. After lots of interneting we found that we were about 1km away and google had got the place in the wrong spot. We waited for the rain to pass then set off walking, it wasn't so bad a walk but we did find it. We checked in and got the key to our beach hut. It was great, you just walk past a few more huts then a restaurant then you're at the beach! We left our bags in the room and went for a look around. We got a drink and something to eat at the restaurant then decided we would have a swim in the sea as it was so close. We went back got changed and went straight in. We went all the way to the end of the coast, the sea is really shallow, in most parts we were quite far out and it was actually easier to wade through the water instead of swim! When got to the corner we got out and walked along the beach there. We weren't exactly sure where we were going but we walked up through a hotel and out onto the road. We walked down the road for a little while then back through another hotel and back onto the beach. We got back to our beach hut, had showers and stayed in for the night trying to do a bit of planning for Vietnam.
