We thought we had to make today a full day of planning for Vietnam. We have hardly got anything sorted for it and its not long to go now! Samui has been too much fun and too much to see so far for us to think about planning properly. We had breakfast at the restaurant attached to our beach huts. We managed to have a more or less plan for the first 5/6 days then we have a few ideas for what to do next but have not set anything in stone. We will have to come back to it. We decided to have a long walk along the sea front to see if there was anywhere we wanted to stop for tea. There was a quite busy place which looked nice, we sat and were given menus but it had been ages and no one came to take our order so we gave up on them. We thought we'd walk out onto the road and see what the restaurants were like there. We came to one with a barbecue out front and lots of sea food on display. I've never tried lobster so we thought we'd give it a go here. They did a seafood platter which included lobster for not a bad price so we got one. When it came it was disappointing! Everything was quite tasteless the fish we got was over cooked and none of it had seen a barbecue! Then on the bill they put a 10% service charge without it saying it on the menu. James complained and we paid without the service charge. When we got back we looked on trip advisor to see what sort of reviews they get because they were quite busy. The reviews were terrible, apparently they are a chain of restaurants and they're all as bad as each other! James added to the terrible reviews!
