We both woke up this morning with mighty hangovers, this was not the most sensible thing seen as we have a two hour ferry ride today! Oh well it's got to be done, we got all our things packed and waited for the transfer bus to pick us up to take us to the ferry port. It came and then we stopped off to get some more people on the way. Some old woman pulled out in front of the bus on her scooter so the driver had to slam his brakes on and swerve in the road. Not a good start. When we arrived we got checked in and then waited to board the ferry. The ferry goes to Ko Phagnan first and then onto Ko Tao. We got on with our bags and luckily found some seats which seemed to be in short supply. At about half way through we reached Phagnan where it started to throw it down with rain, everyone who was sat outside on the deck of the boat started screaming and coming inside. It had taken only minutes to soak them through! Plus everyone that had boarded at Phagnan was soaked too. This weather then made the rest of the journey a little rough to say the least, I was feeling quite sick at this point and was glad when we finally got to Ko Tao. The weather had brightened and the sun was shining again. The lady who owns the hotel we're staying at met us at the ferry port and showed us where we're staying. It was only a 5 minute walk up a hill. She first of all got us some drinks, gave us a seat then went through everything very thoroughly about the hotel and the island. She then showed us our room, it was great! We crashed on the bed when she'd left. We went out for something to eat and to get some supplies for the room. On the way back to our room we saw the funniest thing, a dog sat on the seat of a parked scooter with it's paws on the handlebars! We both both gutted when we realised neither of us had brought our phones with us! We did nothing much else for the rest of the day.
