Mum's birthday! It was great to ring home today and get chance to speak to mum and dad from the beach!
We went out for late breakfast, to a place called the German bakery. It was quite difficult to find, we were glad we had the scooter. When we got there the place was quite big with loads of places to sit and chill and eat. The menu had all sorts on it. We got a proper coffee, and both got a croissant filled with scrambled egg and tomato. It was delicious, the scrambled egg had onion, carrot and courgette mixed in. We stayed for quite a while because it was do relaxing there, it was also quite busy.
After this we came back, collected some stuff and went to the beach for a few hours. We saw some fishermen bring their boat in with their catch.
Later on we went out for our tea, James had read about a restaurant which was between Anjuna and Vagator called Bean Me Up, it is supposed to be very nice. We decided since we have the scooter we would give it a go. It was a vegetarian restaurant so we've had a veggie day today.
On the way back we picked up some water and James got a quarter bottle of gin for 40p! The tonic to mix with it was more expensive!
