We had to check out this morning by 11.00am so decided to get up early and go out to the Bean Me Up restaurant for our breakfast first. Some parts if the breakfast were good but some not so good, the soysage was a little veggie step too far for both James and I! We checked out and handed our keys back and waited for our taxi to take us to Baga. During the taxi ride we saw a decorated elephant being ridden by an Indian man, unfortunately neither James or I had our phones out so didn't get a decent photograph!
Once we arrived in Baga we put our things in our room then went out for a walk to the beach. We thought we'd have a look around seen as we won't be here for too long. The main road area was extremely busy, there were pavements being laid all over. We made it down to the beach to see a huge expanse of sand, this was the biggest beach we have seen so far! And it was VERY busy! There were just people everywhere, we walked to the north end if the beach where we passed something strange on the beach. It was very large lungs and intestines from some animal! There was nothing else of the animal just that and there were Indian people walking past it as if this were normal! Bizarre!
We went back to the hotel for a little while then decided to go out for our tea. We went to a restaurant called Fire 'n' Ice, we both got a curry. It was very tailored for 'English curries' so we decided to go with it. James got butter chicken and I had chicken tikka masala. They were really really good. We got naan bread and it was so good because they cook it in the tandoor. We went back very full and very happy!!
