We had been to the shop and stocked up on toiletries we needed, some snacks and some beers for this evening to enjoy on our balcony. After settling down for the evening with beers and crisps, chatting away to each other, we then heard the thunder!! And saw the lightning!! There was an almighty storm brewing! It sounded awesome! We sat out on the balcony to watch, it took ages for the rain to eventually come but when it did it poured! The rain went on all night and the thunder and lightning went on for a few hours, it was great sat watching this on our first night but it did seem like a bad omen for the days to come!!
