We got up fairly early this morning to get off, we were really excited to have the car and to be getting out and about. The roads were extremely quiet to drive on. When we got into the park one if the first things you saw was the enormous waterfall with people swimming in the bottom of it!! This was what we were looking forward to. We decided we would do the walk around first and save the swimming until last. The walk was lovely, absolutely beautiful views of lakes and waterfalls. At about half way, there was a little shop which we bought our postcards from with some great pictures of the waterfalls. We made it round to the waterfall to swim in, we found a spot near a tree to get changed and then got in. It was cold but we got used to it, this was the coolest thing we had ever done! It was amazing to look around whilst swimming and get so close to the waterfall you could feel the spray from it. It wasn't that deep either and every so often you would come across a rock which you could stand on in the middle of the water! The water was so clear and not salty in the slightest like the sea. We went home with very happy faces today!
