We still had the car after visiting Krka yesterday so we decided (after a big lie in) that we would visit Vir and Nin for a look around and a bit of a drive. Vir was further away so we started there, the drive was really nice, very quiet roads again. Vir was beautiful, the beaches were stoney just like the ones in Zadar. One of the beaches had wooden parasols fixed into the ground for anyone to sit under, they looked lovely walking past and for some reason it was empty! We are visiting out of season which could be the reason for the beach being so empty, it was great. We walked a lot of the coast right next to the sea walls with the clearest waters, watching the fishes. We sat for a little with our feet in the water, it was so peaceful and quiet here. After walking for a little we went back to the car and drove to visit Nin. Nin wasn't as quiet as Vir but still not much going on. We walked around there and through the streets, like everywhere it seems in Croatia there were big building projects on the go. It was a lovely afternoon of exploring more of Croatia.
