Brie & Trent's Travels
So we are staying in one of the sketchiest hostels yet... We checked into the hostel for them to take us accross the plaza to their apartment. The door was half glass over wood and the glass is all shattered which is interesting. Trent also got a taste of what spain elevators are like. I nearly lost it laughing when we both tried to fit in the tiny elevator with our backpacks... that was sooo funny. So after our siesta the apartment lost electricity and we nearly broke our necks trying to find our way down the long winding staircase that was pitch black... we made it though.
We woke up really early to pick up our laundry and go to the market for breakfast... it is nice to have clean clothes again. 10e for our clothes... so damn expensive.
The market was wonderful and we ate churros y chocolate and had some fresh squeezed juice. We picked up some tomatoes and manchego cheese to make some bocadillos with (sandwiches). They were pretty much the most delicious tomatoes I have ever had. We are chilling cava (chanmpagne) for later.. it is the region to drink cava.
We ate our bocos at the park next to the Sagrada Familia which is pretty much the most impressive cathedral either of us have seen. Pictures dont do it justice.
Time for my siesta and Trent is going to travel around to some museums..
Hasta Luego!
