Today we passed through the hamlet of McKinlay, whose pub featured in the Crocodile Dundee movies as the “Walkabout Creek Hotel”. I took a photo, but this one off the net is better. This cute little froggie lives in the tank at the rest area where we are camped, 25km north of Longreach. It’s been a magical outback evening, out amongst the scrub, peaceful and quiet, gorgeous sunset, campfire, mild temperature, sky and stars. Love it!
