Today’s pleasant surprises were two-fold. Next to last night’s campground at Camooweal is a huge truck parking area capable of holding a dozen road trains. Great day today, no packing and no driving! Leisurely day just doing some washing and having play time. Came back to earth a little today, drove 500km without much to see. We did pass some interesting landforms about 60-80km north of Winton, which I wished I’d stopped at. We had lunch at Combo Waterhole near Kynuna ... ’twas a bit warm and humid walking to it, but very cold in the water itself.
