Another day of train travel, this time just under 6hrs to Munich. The train left Prague at 9.15 so we had most of the day watching the countryside go by before arriving into Munich a bit after 3pm. We had chosen a hotel which had a kitchenette as well as a guest laundry so the afternoon was spent doing washing. Finally a bit after 6pm we went for a wander towards the old town walking down the long pedestrian shopping street & around Our Lady's church before finding a beer hall for dinner. We made a rooky mistake & didn't check the menu just assuming it would be the same as the other beer hall menus we had checked- it just meant dinner was a few more euros than we expected. I had a plate with mashed potato, sauerkraut & 5 types of sausage including the local speciality- the white sausage. I think I was starting to look like a sausage by the time I finished! It was washed down with a Lowenbrau Dunkel. Heavy with dinner we walked it off heading back to the hotel.
