Woke to a beautiful day. Temperature expected to be in the mid 20's and not a cloud in the sky. The wind has drop to nothing.
Headed off to the Dubai Mall. This place is HUGE. Its main draw card is the largest aquarium, also an ice rink, plus the Burj Kalifa.
Aftre wandering around the shops we headed up to the 120th floor of the Burj Kalifa. The cost was worth every cent, about $25 each. The view was amazing, except for the air pollution.
There is also the Fountains, which is very similar to the fountains in Las Vegas. This drew a huge crowd.
Need to take a break from walking so much. Feet and legs are hurting a lot. I think we have walked about 30ks in the last week, if not more.

Adrya Wow the mosque is beautiful at night - did you take the photo Alan? I'm glad you are back on track and the Indian leg of the journey is not too badly missed. India is an exceptional place full of filth and bad smells and terrible poverty but it also has the opposite going on, sometimes the reality of the place is so overwhelming that it is hard to see the beauty. We waited 3 days to get approval to travel to Kashmir but it didn't happen. Everything is done in triplicate in India thanks to the British systemising everything. They could do with computers but it would put so many people out of work. Took us 3 hours to get onto our Air India flight, all the time was taken up going to a table to verify we had the correct stamps in our passports from the previous table - unbelievably clunky bureaucracy.
Adrya The building is absolutely incredible! How was the aquarium? Did you go ice skating?

Adrya Ok 120 floors no wonder the view was pretty fantastic. I can't get over how visually stimulating the buildings are with their effective use of light. Another good photo Alan.
Adrya What a city scape - amazing photo especially capturing the light. NO wonder you are tired - after 30ks you probably both need to relax for a couple of days.
