"I don't actually know what just happened." - Marc Taylor (referring to Cirque du Soleil's 'O')
Eurgh!
Today we woke up late and missed the beach party by the pool. It came as a sacrifice in order to have a lay in, and quite frankly having only gotten to bed around 4:30am we needed it. We drank a lot, we gambled a lot and after piecing our night back together again, we remembered that Jackie our blow up doll died, due to an unexplained puncture. She already had three holes; apparently a fourth hole was too much for the poor dear.
Once we had woken up properly, we made our way to another pool to relax for a few hours and have a swim. Of the three week trip, in weather as hot as 120 degrees, we managed to sunbathe for a total of 1.5 hours. Success!
We made our way back to our room, changed for our evening and headed to the Bellagio hotel for some dinner and then to see Cirque du Soleil's 'O' which was absolutely mind-blowing, and a show we recommend to anyone planning to go to Las Vegas on a trip. The stunts, the costumes and the setting were incredible and it was definitely one of the biggest highlights of the trip.
Walking through Bellagio's casino after the show, we pictured ourselves in Ocean's Eleven; however, rather than robbing the casino, we were the ones that were robbed. It was nice to get involved and play some roulette; James did well and won a load on one of the slot machines... except he has no idea what he did to win!
We made our way back to our hotel and headed to our room to finish off our alcohol before heading back downstairs to the casinos, to continue wasting our money. After calling it quits, we made our way upstairs about 2am to pack, so that we were ready to check-out in the morning.
Unfortunately, as nothing really productive happened today, we have slightly lacked in the picture department. Sorry about that!
It will be our last day tomorrow and it's time that we go hard or go home...
