Thursday 13th June - bit of a drama last night - bl....y fan in bathroom wouldn’t turn off- so in my sleep state pulled a cord hanging from ceiling - as you do - stupidly thinking it could turn it off.WRONG - it set off an alarm - so our room was beeping - no one came - alarm for WHAT???? Rang the owner - very grumpy - do not touch cord again - what the hell is it there for???? Naughty me causing drama
Booked a day trip along the Amalfi Coast - it is very hazy so pics are not clear.
First stop Positano- linen heaven!! Did the walk to beach and back ( getting some exercise!!!) It is just as lovely as in films etc. How they built on the cliff I do not know.
Amalfi - not as pretty as Positano - Lyn and I decided to people watch from a great beach restaurant for our stop here.
Ravello- road wound up for kms - extremely high in mountains - houses perched precariously - went in to Villa Rufolo ( 13th century) beautiful garden and amazing views.
Wonderful day - scenery along cast truly beautiful
