Saturday 8th
Left the boat -headed for Old Town. Found our accommodation which was up a funny laneways. Stored our luggage and went exploring. Many museums, went to Salvador Dali exhibition which was great. After 3 could go to room- climbed 3 flights of steps - very quaint room.
Found a concert to go to in evening- Dubrovnik Orchestra - so after dinner ( hundreds of them tucked away in every laneways) we went to the Rectors Palace around 9. Program consisted a many pieces I knew ( some I had never heard) setting magnificent, very energetic conductor. Afterwards we had coffee and ordered 1 cake, then the owner said it had been too small - so gave us 2 more! We waddled back after our sugar fix. As our apartment is right in the Old Town - and this is quite the party area - noise factor was high - but managed to sleep
