It's pretty much all over now! Sitting at Heathrow waiting to board NZ 1 to LA. London is still very cold, pretty much like mid winter in Auckland (about 12 deg today). The Tri World Champs event was very well delivered and the taxing was exceptional despite the awful weather throughout the 5 days of racing. We didn't really get much of a chance for sight seeing here as I've been pretty tied up at the Tri and in the Congress meeting. Dobby had a look around Harrods yesterday and we met there for a coffee after the congress meeting as it was just down the road. Last night we caught the tube into Soho and walked down to Leister Square where found a nice little French Restaurant for dinner. This morning we caught a bus to Oxford Street for breakfast followed by a quick shop before we headed out here to Heathrow. We have a 24 hr stop over in LA so looking forward to warmer weather and a quick look around there. Home Friday morning....looking forward to seeing Erin & T Friday night...and counting the weeks till Xmas when Renee comes home.
