Busselton , an easy three house drive from Perth....has the longest jetty in Australia, just a few meters shorter then uks south end pier....hence there is a train.....so off we went " choo choo"....the idea was to walk back but as it was very windy we cheated and took the train.....it's a sweet seaside town, clean and nice to wander around.....

The afternoon was spent visiting one of the first settlers homes in the area...Wonnerup house.......sun was shining.........

We stayed two nights just outside Busselton in a lodge in Tuarts Forest...it's was rather loveky, all the birds squawking, and kangaroos.....I kept my eye keenly on the nesting magpies as I didn't want any repeats of my visit to Queensland when I was attained by one landing on my head pecking me.....they fiercely protect their young.......I had to knock it off twice as it kept coming at me....I'm now very cautious around them....
