Took in a couple of farmers markets Saturday and Sunday...the same all the worl over eh.... I have made a couple of observations ....this must be the net curtain capital of the world......and also it seems there are a lot of old folk in this region....well ha ha us included I guess but it seemed very " eastbourne. Set off from Goolwa......took a coastal route, although you couldn't see the see fir the dunes.....travelled four hours and saw hardly any cars.........

Sitting on deck was very relaxing.....the pelican seemed to have a regime we could almost set our clocks to.....the old man, well they look like old men....floated towards us at his usual time around four......oh here he comes again, I say.....suddenly he turns full circle and we saw his head look towards.....a snake.....wriggling in the water towards him.....two meters long, head raised tongue flicking......I thought the pelican may go for him but instead he ga...

Landed in Adelaide to an airless heatwave.....woke up next morning to grey skies and more if that wind which seems to follow us! Delightful drive thru' the Fleurie Peninsular, which could have been Devon, and arrived at Goolwa to get on board our very own paddle steamer....it was permanently moored on the mouth of the Murray river, we had two bedroom, a galley, a big lounge and multiple decks which were useful as one got us out of that darn wind! It was so charm...

Photo was our last stop in Western Australia..great cabin by the beach.....we left there in heavy winds...the whole coast had gales. We pitched ourself at a Perth airport hotel...ha ha Meals were awful...tom chose veggie curry, but ordered chicken extra...it turned up veggie curry with fried chicken nuggets added to the curry..made us laugh!! We've loved Western Australia...it's vast...I feel there's so much we haven't covered...how can you..you need six months...
