Tue 22/4/14 25oC. Putt Putt challenge today...had a fun time playing 18 holes of mini golf with Yub, Dee, Jack and Ellie. Surprisingly nearly everyone managed a hole-in-one at some point, with Mikey being overall winner. Then onto dodgem cars and the games arcade where the kids won enough tickets to earn themselves a "ball of boogers" (slime) and a lolly each for their efforts. The junior Bodons returned to camp for their arvo siesta, whilst Nanna & Poppy stayed with us to go to Orange World. Took a tractor tour of the 10,000 tree orchard which grows several varieties of mainly oranges, but also mandarine, avacado and grapefruit. Lovely chilled, freshly squeezed OJ was on offer, and we had an entertaining tour guide, "Uncle Brian", who recited some homegrown poetry and sang a song he wrote "Mildura is Magic" - which the kids giggled their way through. Fish n chips for dinner, a few spots of rain, getting chilly again tonight.
