We set off first thing this morning to Duinrell and the start of the summer holidays. Daniel and I sat in the back of Bob and blasted the last of the maths. Hurrah - schools out for summer!!!

It has been an absolute privilege to homeschool my two schildren this year... I won't go so far as to say "teach them" as they have both told me on numerous occasions that I am not a teacher and so I obviously know nothing. Honestly, they have probably taught me a lot more than I have taught them (they have at least made me research lots of things that I didn't know before), they have taught themselves really and we have persevered through the workbooks to cover the National Curriculum together and we are done today.... Back to the real teachers next year - good luck to them! Hopefully lots more learning together though, it's been amazing - just not the KS2 workbooks..... it looks like I may have even had 2 ice-creams to celebrate (although I am sure that I didn't!).
