Well phase 2 of an eventful start begins today. We have spent the last 2 weeks camped at Blacks Beach Caravan Park. Isabella Macy O'Leary Allan was born on the 14/02/2012 and is the perfect little princess we had been awaiting. Dominique the washing machine decided to hemirage during her many loads at Blacks Beach. The navigator informed the skipper that there happened to be high sea pouring out of the kitchen cupboard. The air turned blue in the shell while the skipper pulled the cupboard apart and finally discovered her bowl was cracked. I must say Dometic were very good and have replaced the machine that was fitted yesterday afternoon.
Today we are off to Moranbah for final visits and last preparations. The skipper has finally agreed to allow a pod to be purchased to carry the navigators golf clubs. Racks and pod have been ordered and should arrive in Brisbane next week. Hopefully we will be down near Gympie by then. The plan is to drop the shell back to its maker to have its face powdered. Her makeup has developed a fade and needs refreshing.
Then maybe over to Russell Island to see the navigators sister and a few rellies in Brisbane, Ipswich and Sunny Coast. Then off to Cootamundra probably via New England inland NSW highway. Will keep you posted.
