Well the trip begins. We needed to have the solar panels fitted and the shells nose powdered so we left Moranbah and spent the first night in Dauringa free camping. The skipper hadn't bought fuel for the generated so no air conditioning. We baked while listening to the truckie's generator air con all night. It was beautiful spot though. They have setup a rain forest garden with a water fall that is flood lit at night. Very pretty. Quite proud of myself for not screaming when walked past a snake on the way to dinner. Then to Gympie the next night to drop off the shell. Then to Ipswich to see my baby bro and co. Out to Hannah's farm to see bulls and horses and have a picnic. Then on Sunday to Russell Island to see my sister. Just beautiful over there. So peaceful and full moon on the water topped off the scenery. Great company and lots of laughs as always. Yesterday we arrived at the sunshine coast to Ken and Debs house. Lovely dinner on the waterfront at Caloundra. They tell us the shell will be ready on Monday so will probably park it at Coolum for a couple of weeks while waiting for Mazda parts to fix the damage created by the skipper parking at Moranbah. No Mazda parts in Australia. Hope it's not like the bull bar and takes months. That would mean being on the coast for ages. Yuk!
